Weekend Re-Cap

Friday I met one of my dear friends, Kelli for lunch and shopping at Memorial City Mall... We grabbed the oh so healthy Taco Bell and sat to eat lunch, 3 hours later.. Yes 3 I looked at my phone for the first time, holy moly I still had a lot to get done during the day, we quickly ended our lunch and skipped shopping. While at lunch I asked Kelli to join my bridal party and be one of my bridesmaids!

Friday Night planned on going to Amici's for a nice Italian dinner with the fiance, due to rain and laziness of not wanting to get ready and all dressed up, we decided to grab mexican food and headed to his dads and went to At&t to switch Brian from his mom's phone plan to his dad's and also purchased him the Iphone!

Saturday headed to Megan's house around 8am to start preparing for their first crawfish boil in the new house!

After the Crawfish boil and after resting at Brian's house for a bit we packed up and headed to the river house... We wanted to spend the evening with my parents and puppies and check on the status of the bulk head and peir

This is where we stand.. Praying for it to be done by June 5th!

We planned on riding (wakeboarding) but with lots of debris floating due to rain the past week and my incisions still being eek, decided we would just relax with my rents

My daddy and fiance put on the same shirt on Sunday! NOT planned, just that much a like :)

Fri June 4-Sun 6: Blumrick's 2nd Annual Crawfish boil! Also one of my bff's Rachael's B-Day that Saturday! Gonna be one of the best weekends of the summer, in my opinion at least..

Fri 11- Sun 13: Ft Worth Pro Wakeboard Tour.. Not sure if were going, if not Brian will be off shore fishing with Matt & Dom and I will be going to the Sunflower Festival with my mom at the river house and The Chunky Funky Cowgirl will be there!!

I can NOT find the pics from last time we went to Pro Wakeboard Tour in Ft Worth for the life of me... So no pics!

Fri 18- Sun 20: Girls Weekend at the river!! Also another TOP weekend of summer! More to come on this later... Details in the works as we speak!!
Fri 25-Sun 27: Fri- Peddler Show (amazing craft show at the Fort Bend County Fair Grounds, always good Texas Rustic goods to be purchased :)) Fri afternoon heading to Beaumont to stay with my cousin and her newlywed hubby for the weekend for the SeTx Mid summer Classic Wakeboard tournament!

Wedding Wednesday: Socks & Signature Drink

Here is Jen and Jay on their wedding day! I can't remember where Jen said she got the socks, I thought I book marked it but can't find it...

But this is the look I'm going for! I want Brian to have on the same purple shade socks as my shoes!


I have this pic saved in my folder titled "Wedding stuff I like" but can't remember where I found it.. dangit! Quick thought: Is there a need for this guy to be shirtless?

So here's where you come into play? Do I buy a pair for all the guys or just Brian? I'm thinking just plain purple, no stripes, no pattern....

Happy Monday everyone!

Not gonna go into detail from previous post about my health.. I'll just say, I had surgery and PRAYING that takes care of the problems, keep you posted.. So far SO good!

During my health struggle the past 8 weeks, I have had SO much support, care, and concerns from my dear friends and family! I've received phone calls from people I haven't talked to on the phone in months, sweet sweet emails, texts, and visits!

I feel SO blessed and loved, made the whole process much easier on me... Especially having the door bell ring and seeings these beauties through the glass!

Went to the surgeon Tuesday to schedule the surgery, had to go to the hosp after to register, get my vitals and blood taken... Came home to these from my dear dear friend Rachael! I wanted to take the bear with me into surgery the next day but due to "safety" I wasn't allowed to...
Came home from the hospital Wed night to these on my desk with a funny card from my loving bubba (older brother)

Thursday woke up to the door bell ringing with a guy delivering theses pretty yellow flowers from The Berryman's fam aka my boss, life long friend, future flower girl family, God brother and so on...

I CAN'T Thank my friends enough for all the LOVE and SUPPORT they have shown! I wish I could think each and everyone in my own special way but I'm afraid I would leave someone out, ha!

SO Thanks EVERYONE!!! I Love you all in my own special way!!!

I'm 6 days out of surgery and still a little sore and have some battle wounds but feeling much better than I did 7 days ago.....:)

I know everyone says their mom is THE best but I'll have to say, mines the best for me and others are the best for them :) they both have their special touch :)

Wedding Wed: Hoe Down Rehersal Dinner

Since my Dad "won't allow" me to have a Country themed wedding (he says the place is too ellagent and he's paying too much to make it look cheap)... So why not do all my plans/envisions/dreams into our rehearsal dinner. My dear Boss also long life friend sent me a link the other day with some pics that gave me more ideas..

I want to have an actual "Hoe Down" with a guy playing the banjo, stacks of hay, sunflowers, bandannas, bbq, dancing, def cowgirl boots, maybe big skirts, and possibly games like bob for apples.. (I know I'm a dork, thanks)
