Celebrating 3 years!

The fiance and I are gonna celebrate 3 years together this weekend! Our official "anniversary" date isn't till July 7th but the next couple weekends are busy for the both of us and we technically "talked/dated" for about 2 months before we were official, so at this point 3 years ago we were already a part of each others lives!

The past couple weeks have been pretty busy, stressful, emotional, and just kinda bleh so I'm really excited to get away and "attempt" to relax, I'm high strung and always on the go, so relaxing isn't in my vocabulary often..

So the family I babysit told me anytime I wanted to use their condo high rise in Galveston that I was welcome to, so what better time to use it! We would love to get away to Austin (our fav city) but $$ is an issue..

So here's what my weekend will look like:
We will be staying here, at the very top.. eek not a fan of heights!

Wedding Wednesday: Shoes #2

Ok so scratch everything from last Wednesday's shoe post! I appreciate all the comments and opinions and took them into consideration!!!

So remember my excitement about my girls shoes coming back out?! refer here

Well I went back to Zappos website on Monday to order a few pairs of those precious little shoes and saw they added 2 new colors that I have never seen before, blue and pink!!!

Shoe problem SOLVED! I didn't want to clash my shoes with my girls so I couldn't get purple, I wanted a bow like theirs but didn't want them to not look good together, I don't have my "something blue" in mind yet and I just adore these shoes!


So I ordered the blue shoes, there gonna be perfect: my something blue, match my girls shoes perfectly but yet differnt, AND my 3rd color (along with purple and gray) is royal blue (just in the flowers) so what better shoe and way to bring out the blue in my wedding?!?!

Sorry If I'm not making sense I'm super excited and typing fast!!

I wish I knew had to photo shop so I could put the 2 shoes together to see how they look.. but even better I will have my shoes by the end of the week and can borrow a pair of my girls shoes and take pics!!

My lovely Matron of Honor Lindsey gave me some great advice about waiting till I had my dress cause of alterations, style etc. and at first I was taking her advice and understood but when I saw these, I knew they were the ones!

Bridesmaid Danielle brought her shoes to the river house with her this weekend to show me, they are just as beautiful and fun colored in person as they are online! Thanks for bringing them Dani!

Only Danielle could pull off a swim suit and heels :)

National BFF Day!

Today, June 8th is National BFF Day! I'm so lucky to get to spend it with 2 of my favorite girls Megan and Lindsey.. Were headed to the Village area in Houston to eat at Ruggles. I've had an emotional bleh week so this couldn't come at a better time!

Wedding Wed:Shoes!

I have the best news, ok well In my opinion it is....

So the shoes I have been eying since Janurary when I first started planning stuff...Well long story short, told all my bm's and moh's to order them.. a few girls did and a few girls tried and they didn't have their size, so the girls that ordered them had to return them!

After hunting the stores and surfing the internet since this mis hap happened, no such luck finding the perfect shoe just like it.. Either not cute, not the bow I wanted, heel to high, not right shade of purple etc etc.. So one of my bm's Danielle checked a little box on the Zappos website saying "notify me when this shoe is back in stock" well she got the sweet little e-mail this weekend that they had more!!! I did not believe it or get my hopes up at first, until I called and chatted with Zappos that is!!! I had talked to the manufacture back in Jan and they said they had just sent their final shipment of that exact shoe to Marshall's and would not be getting anymore...

So ladies I talked to Zappos yesterday and sent an email to my girls asap! 4-5 of them have already ordered them and I'm placing an order for a few more pairs today!

So now........ Even though I don't have my dress it, I'm already brainstorming!

I planned on wearing purple shoes and changing into cowgirl boots for the reception, butttttt... What if my purple shade doesn't look good with the girls shoes, in the cute feet pics :)

So here's where I need your thoughts and opinions!

Do I get the same shoe as the girls but in this tan color, even though I'm planning a white dress?

Do I get the Nine Forbes in white? Which I just LOVE this shoe!


OR do I get the Nine Forbes in Silver since my colors are Purple and Gray/Silver? Which will look good rather my dress is white or ivory etc...

PS: Keep in mind, I have plenty of time to return whatever shoes I get if they don't look good with my girls shoes!

So what do you think ladies? Especially my moh's and bm's better comment on this post, ha!

Many or you are wondering what this is... It's a flag to hold up when your on a boat and have a skier/rider down so other boats are aware....
I used to make fun of people when I would see them holding these, some people literally stand up on the seat and wave them around, I used to laugh.. Not so much anymore!
The river we have been on for 16 years now has double populated over the past couple years! To be quite honest I'm a little upset about this, you have people who come out on the river, drink all day and act fools after having a jet ski FLY by Brian this weekend and him getting so irate that he didn't even want to wakeboard anymore.... We are headed to Academy today after work to purchase one of these bright orange flags and I'm proud about it :)

I would KILL someone, ok not literally but you get it.. If they hurt Brian or anyone else I pull behind my boat



In the new boat we have an mp3 plug in.. perfect for our new iphones.. We have a plug but its super long and gets tangled up, so how convenient is this little gadget from best buy?

Those these little red flat sandals would be cute to go along with my dress for the crawfish boil next weekend

Speaking of Crawfish boil.. The sno-cone machine we rented only comes with 2 little bottles, well we all know that is only gonna last the first hour.. So this is also on the list of things to buy!

The new Captains seat on the boat sits real low.. Well I'm not very tall and the windshield is pretty large... Need to purchase one of these while at Academy

I might sound obsessive but in my opinion you can never have enough Wakeboard T-Shirts!

Are you ladies seeing a pattern here? I think I'm a little obsessed with summer/boating/being at the river!

My Sweet Friend Megan!

Well I've never dedicated a post to a friend but I have 2 things I wanted to blog about in reference to Megan today so why not just do a whole post!

And today she celebrates 1 amazing year with her hubby. They are one of the best couples I know, Brian and I LOVE spending time with them! They have fun, they joke, laugh, love one another unconditionally and yet they are still their own people. He loves softball and she loves to shop (and hang out with me :)) I could go on and on about them 2 but I think you get the point!
