Future Home: Western/Rustic/Texas Decor

As some of you may read on my blog before, I LOVE LOVE Rustic, Texas Chic decor and plan on decorating my whole house/town home first with it, maybe except our room.. I have been buying stuff over the past year, so I have tubs full but here are a few of my recent purchases that I am excited to share!

The last 2 signs are hung by Suede brown rope/line, can't get more western than that!

Bumrunners Shorts

One of Brian's bro's, best friends has started a Collegiate clothing line, all he has for now are shorts but plans on making a whole line!

April: Child Abuse Prevention Month

I have not blogged in a long time (besides quickly yest) and I'm back and ready, what better way then to kick off Child Abuse Prevention Month, no its not a good thing to celebrate but its a GREAT thing to support!

I ordered my Blue pin ribbon to wear on my purse/shirt about 4 years ago, 3 years ago I worked the Fort Bend Advocates Gala for Child Abuse Prevention and now this year Friday night Brian, my future MIL, and I attended the "Light Of Hope Ceremony" presented by Child Advocates of Fort Bend.

Brian's parents family friend Debbie sang a couple songs including the National Anthem.
She sang at Brian's Granny's funeral in 2008 and in our Church before but I've never really heard her sing out doors and high note songs, so I was excited to see her sing there cause we are honored to have her sing at our wedding next May

They handed out Ribbon for your trees, flash lights, and magnets for your car! I of course got it all! Here is me headed out side to hang the ribbon around my tree

We only have 1 tree... I wish we had more, I want to put ribbons ALL over my yard!



Please support Child Prevention Month by wearing a blue ribbon, It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just make a ribbon pin with ribbon from Hobby Lobby or something

I'm Alive!!!

Hello fellow blogger friends,

Just a quick post to let you know I am alive and back and ready to blog! I want to do a post now but pics aren't uploading, so gotta work on that then the blogging will begin :)

Life has had its up's and down's lately, down's are mainly my health. But I am back and ready to keep up on all your lives and vise versa!
