Life Planner.. Might be the winner!

Remember my post the other day, Do I want A myAgenda? Thank You to those that commented or emailed and gave your thoughts!

I might of found something even better, ok well not better but more beneficial for me personally...

I might seem a little crazy, but I'm pretty excited about this one..

If you go to the website and browse around or even watch the video you might either 1. think I'm crazy for caring that much or 2. want one your self :)

Let me share a few reasons why I'm smitten:

Nuff' said!

I love love quotes, especially in simple forms like this.. They just pop up, not necessarily looking at them via online etc...

I love the fun colors, makes it exciting to look ahead at the months to come!

Lined paper within.. Genius!

Workout log, maybe it can help be a motivation!

To do lists and Goals... Is my name written in there already?

Slot inside for extra papers.. I need this in my life!

Now as for my cover...

I'm a sucker for all things photo, but I don't know how I could choose only 6 and if I'm going to have it for a year+, I might get tired of them...

As mentioned above, I love quotes!

I love all things brown, especially with pretty colors mixed in!

How fabulous would it be for me to have these also?
But I'm not that crazy... One thing at a time ;)

Do I want a myAgenda?

I might have a mild obsession with having a perfect organizer/planner..
This mild obsession leads to when I get a new planner for the year, I hunt for the perfect one, even if this means going to a few different stores to get "that perfect planner" and when I find this planner, it's like a high....

That being said, the past few years I have grown to like day runner planners, I like that they come in various color/themes and have simple pages with wide day spaces but not broke down by time slots (appointment style.)

I don't like that my planner has these additions:

"Long term to do lists" "another to do lists"
these lists move with me every week when I flip the week and re-clip the pasts weeks..

more to do lists.. One started last week, one started today.. stuck on the front of my planner

I have been eying the momAgenda for many years, well let's be real here, I am clearly not at that point.. SO then when the myAgenda came out, well hello this is perfect! I have just been putting off spending more on a planner.

What I love about the myAgenda:

For my life style the next 5-6 months I can use the 5 different sections to break down things to do for:
Daily/My personal life
Student Teaching
My college classes
Daily Exercise
?

Umm did the makers of this know the selling point for me, or what?
This is essential for me beginning in January!

This is important for me to know!

I love the weekly quotes, to bad there wasn't horoscopes also.. ha

I've also heard there is a gift idea section, simply perfect for me!! When I see something or hear about something and it rings a bell as a good gift for a family or friend, I write it down in the back of my planner to refer back to come Christmas time!

I think this is my FAV color to choose from.. Wish they still had the Purple or Silver this year!

Do You Pintrest?

I caved....

Over the past few months I have heard the site mentioned and seen various fabulous boards posted on blogs and other social media but I kept telling myself that I did not need to join and fall into the trap of looking at another site daily (I used to look at my blogger daily.. That has been neglected the past few months,) but after finding myself checking out the site more often I decided to give in..

Thanks to MJ over at Teaching In Heels, I got my invite to follow and quickly got signed up!

In case you aren't familiar, here' s a quick overview of what it is:

Fun Finds

How fun but dangerous is this? You hook it up to your computer and swipe away!! I have often thought about this idea as I am typing my cc # into the computer, one its so dangerous to type your info in and two takes time to type in all the info.. How easy would it be to swipe like your at the actual store? ha!

Found this on Etsy! I've seen things like it before but never to hang on the edge of a frame, loving it! Can't remember the seller though... sorry!

The fiance' showed me a % battery life thing on the Iphone.. It shows the % of your battery life right next to your battery in the top right corner! I can't find an image to show you but if you have an Iphone you must change your settings to have it on there, its heaven for the iphone, ha!

Fun Finds/Thing I want:

How fun are these? How cute are flowers in your hair in the summer? Well this little gadget allows you to pick a pretty summer flower and put it in your hair without it welting in like 20 mins (especially if you live in Texas and stand outside for 5 + mins)
I don't know that I'll order one, just thought it was a fun little idea!

The hair piece looks big here, not sure the actual size and how much it would show in your hair?!

This place fixes jeans...

They fix much more than just what this image above shows, but this is my most common problem...

Key question here thought: Is it worth it? especially when you can go to Off Fifth and Nordstrom Rack and even Marshalls and buy "last seasons" designer jeans?

Its a cool idea though!

I think its that time.. That time being purchasing a new digital camera!

I am on my 4th digital camera:

1st Sony purchased in 2003: lasted about 2 years..big & bulky!

2nd Sony: Just wanted to upgrade, lasted about a year...tiny screen, not many features

3rd Sony: previous camera was submerged in water, so 4th purchased

4th Sony: purchased December 2006... I waited in line for this camera, I was eyeing it for months.. It was the first touch screen that anyone made and the screen was the first HUGE screen.. It was my Christmas present, cost $600 I think...

The camera still works great, it is VERY beat up, but works, that's what matters.. But I always have it around water and people always freak out but I feel I've had it long enough, and deff got my money worth and I'm ok if it gets wet and breaks, hehe...

Sooo I'm debating if I wanna get one of the new "waterproof" cameras... They look so fun, underwater pics?!?! How fun!!! Then I won't have to worry when I take it on the boat, by the pool, to the beach etc...
The technology has advanced SO much, my camera now takes great pics, I always get compliments on my pics but I'm sure there are newer things to make them look even better..

P.S. Can't ever go wrong with Sony! Only brand I ever buy!!!

Items I need/want to Purchase this week...

Things I need/want to purchase:

Many or you are wondering what this is... It's a flag to hold up when your on a boat and have a skier/rider down so other boats are aware....
I used to make fun of people when I would see them holding these, some people literally stand up on the seat and wave them around, I used to laugh.. Not so much anymore!
The river we have been on for 16 years now has double populated over the past couple years! To be quite honest I'm a little upset about this, you have people who come out on the river, drink all day and act fools after having a jet ski FLY by Brian this weekend and him getting so irate that he didn't even want to wakeboard anymore.... We are headed to Academy today after work to purchase one of these bright orange flags and I'm proud about it :)

I would KILL someone, ok not literally but you get it.. If they hurt Brian or anyone else I pull behind my boat

In the new boat we have an mp3 plug in.. perfect for our new iphones.. We have a plug but its super long and gets tangled up, so how convenient is this little gadget from best buy?

Those these little red flat sandals would be cute to go along with my dress for the crawfish boil next weekend

Speaking of Crawfish boil.. The sno-cone machine we rented only comes with 2 little bottles, well we all know that is only gonna last the first hour.. So this is also on the list of things to buy!

The new Captains seat on the boat sits real low.. Well I'm not very tall and the windshield is pretty large... Need to purchase one of these while at Academy

I might sound obsessive but in my opinion you can never have enough Wakeboard T-Shirts!

Are you ladies seeing a pattern here? I think I'm a little obsessed with summer/boating/being at the river!
