Garter

If you read my previous post, I already said.. I'm just starting to look into ordering little things here and there, one of them now being my garter.. No I don't know the exact color of my dress, but I know I want white! And with the garter I'm leaning towards the color of my dress doesn't really matter..

So at first I wanted a pretty silk garter with my initials on it.. I then decided the garter is kinda "the grooms thing" so why not theme it towards him, and what better to use than a fish!

So this is what I'm thinking of ordering
It would be camo just like this, but with purple lace and feathers and then a little fish charm in the center!

I've been talking with Kristi at Garters By Kristi and this is what we have come up with!

What do you think?

I like it cause it will be with our theme and fun but yet cute and not some tacky camo!

Wedding Day Hanger

So I found this hanger on Etsy monthsss ago, way before I was even engaged. But now I am ready to order one for my own wedding, yes I still have over a year, but I figured I could start ordering little stuff like that that I know exactly what I want and it won't go bad or anything.. Trying to spread out the budget over months rather than purchasing all at the end....


So here's where you come in :) What do I put?

*Mrs. DeLany (heart at end) *Jenn (heart) Brian *may 21, 2011 (heart on end) *DeLany (space) Big (space) Day... idk?

Letters on the bar!

I'm ALL about personalizing EVERYTHING I can for our wedding!

I want to put our first initial's hanging from the bar...
I'm thinking a J on the left half, the & in the center over the stone and a B on the right half... I want them BIG, I found a guy online who can make them 20" but he doesn't have the colors I want.. SO I'm gonna get them unpainted and spray paint them!

The J&B will be in purple with dark gray ribbon and the & will be in gray with purple ribbon!

Any thoughts or extra tips?

Fact Napkins

I want to have these fun conversation napkins for the bar area at the wedding.. Its Fun Facts about the couple. I'm thinking of doing 5 different facts!
I need help, suggestions of questions/facts I can put on the napkins!!!

Here's a few I was thinking...
* We have our own language, everything ends in Y. We never have to ask each other to repeat what was said, we completely understand each other!

*Anytime we see a kid out in public we both start making faces and talking to the little one... that's how we met our Ring Boys!

*She holds the high score for Pac-Man on many machines, he holds the high score for Skee ball!

*He knows every word to every song, she thinks she knows and tries to sing along..

*Their both kids at heart and wanna remain that way for many years to come!

*And then something about us both wakeboarding and fishing....

I Do Rhinestones

So looks like my blog is going to turn into an opinion blog!

So I want to do the rhinestones on the bottom of my shoes...

These are all I can find online.. Not really a fan of the "I" on these...

This is what I want!


Anyone seen them or should I just buy rhinestones and do them myself one by one?
